Christmas Snooker Competition 2017

A total of twelve members took part in a Christmas snooker competition held at the clubrooms on Friday, December 22, 2017.
The eventual winner was Thomas Mathews, with Peter Morrow runner-up.

FIRST ROUND (one frame) ; Billy McCann 73 Billy England 18, Peter Morrow 57 Rev. Thomas Stevenson (Old Boys’ President) 16, Leslie Wells 42 Trevor Brady 20, Mark Cornett 63 Stephen Pollock 10.
QUARTER – FINALS (one frame) ; Ronald Ankin 45 Billy McCann 17, Peter Morrow 50 Jim Johnston 41, Steve Ankin 54 Leslie Wells 10, Thomas Mathews 40 Stephen Pollock 19.
SEMI – FINALS (best of three frames) ; Thomas Mathews 2 Steve Ankin 1 (60 -10, 34 – 41, 46 – 41), Peter Morrow 2 Ronald Ankin 1 (46 – 34, 23 – 53, 38 – 17).
FINAL (best of three frames) ; Thomas Mathews 2 Peter Morrow 0 (39 – 32, 45 – 30).
