Bible Class Report (November 2017)

There were fifteen in attendance at the Remembrance Sunday Bible Class on November 12.
The speaker was Derek Laverty, who gave an interesting talk on conflicts in Belgium and France, as well as victims locally, and especially those connected with the 1st Portadown Boys’ Brigade Company. Also taking part were Steven Wright (Old Boys’ Chairman), Kenneth Vennard BEM (Company Captain, 7th Portadown Company Boys’ Brigade and Old Boys’ Vice-President) and Trevor Brady (Committee member) who read from Ephesians Chapter 6.
Old Boys’ President, Rev. Thomas Stevenson was also in attendance as was Leonard Gillis who had a family member killed in conflict during the Second World War.
