Bible Class Report (November)

An encouraging attendance of 24 were present for the Remembrance Sunday Bible Class on November 13.
The minister of Thomas Street Methodist Church, the Rev. Thomas Stevenson led the Bible Class in a slightly different format with the theme of Remembrance on a PowerPoint presentation. There were also contributions by Kenneth Vennard (Company Captain, 7th Portadown Boys’ Brigade) and Steven Wright (Old Boys’ Chairman) who took part in the Act of Remembrance.
Andrew Millar (Company Captain, 1st Portadown Boys’ Brigade) and Ian Todd were welcomed to their first Bible Class by Derek Laverty (Bible Class Leader).
At the close of the Bible Class, BB Week cheques were presented to Andrew Millar and Kenneth Vennard by Steven Wright on behalf of the Association. Steven also gave a short tribute to Errol Johnston (Old Boys’ Vice – President) who passed away on October 20.
